Kedron Vet

KEDRON VET

Futari Design project managed the complete renovation and relocation of the Kedron Veterinarian Clinic.

The previous building was completely gutted and required speciality contractors for asbestos removal. The new building underwent a full re-design with functionality at its heart. This included soundproofing and designing specific caging for housing animals, consultation rooms, preparation areas, operating theatre, X-ray room, a grooming room, and space for the puppy school. We also designed the reception area, staff office and breakout areas with a natural aesthetic and neutral colour scheme, appropriate lighting, hard-wearing fixtures and fittings and used artwork and styling to create a relaxed feel. The ambiance is incredibly important to get right as both people and their pets are often anxious during a visit to the vet and a friendly and welcoming environment can help ease any stress.

From applying for council approvals to liaising with engineers, contractors and the Veterinary Board in relation to legislative requirements, we delivered this project end to end from design to completion.
