Melissa enjoyed a relaxed upbringing in north Queensland with plenty of time outdoors, giving her a great appreciation of nature and our beautiful environment.
Having studied music and visual arts at Queensland University of Technology and later Interior Design, Melissa has also worked across industries in marketing and project management roles.
Melissa founded Futari Design in 2005 and has since completed a broad range of residential and commercial projects. With a talent for understanding her client’s ideal space, Melissa incorporates their personality and lifestyle into her design solutions. She can style a space beautifully and loves the creative challenge each new project presents.
Melissa lives in a renovated Queenslander in Brisbane and spends lots of time outdoors and with her family.
